My husband and I recently did a tour with Glenn, and it was brilliant. Glenn was knowledgeable about wines, about the... island, and very funny! I would definitely recommend a tour with Glenn - for sure! We will return and will do another tour with him - but maybe a little art along with way with the wine. Glenn also kindly delivered us to another winery at the end of the day, and then - picked us up - because he is that nice! Thanks for the great day, we will be back!read more

Our first visit to Waiheke. One part of our gorgeous country we hadn’t yet had the pleasure of. My husband and I were... innocently waiting for a bus we bought a package ticket for, when we were quite literally accosted in a very aggressive manor by the owner of this shuttle service. He came up to us and yelled at us to ‘buy local’. It most bewildering and quite unexpected. When he came past again, he literally got right into the face of our poor bus driver and was quite nasty and belittling. So much so, I had to step in and intervene. Was a horrible experience and left a terrible first impression of what I had hoped would be a lovely day.read more

Glenn made our Island Magic tour amazing. He is a kind-hearted and warm person, very knowledgeable about the Island and... its culture, especially as it relates to wine, history and art. We were fortunate to book a Saturday tour for 6 with him. Waiheke is a very special island - beautiful, magical, vast countryside, lush green, sandy beaches, and extensive vineyards with great wineries - what more could anyone ask for? We visited three vineyards and the olive oil tasting (which was outstanding). The ferry ride from Auckland was enjoyable and Glenn's transport service was impeccable. Don't forget to see the night sky when on the Island. It was simply amazing to see the Milky Way and all the stars. I wish there were more places on this earth like Weiheke Island and more great people like Glenn to show us their beauty and wonder. Thanks Glenn. Can't wait to show you our "wine country" here in Southern California and Baja, Mexico. Come visit us - you are more than welcome!read more
